Who are we ?

Dominique and Jean Jacques are sister and brother. Born in Paris they spent most of their time travelling all over the world for business purpose. They both worked for either international airlines or cargo airlines and US based freight forwarding companies. They met people all over the globe and most of them became friends.

They had the idea of founding Ancre 78  a few month back when they remembered the difficulties they had sometimes finding the right company to take care of their transportation problems in foreign countries where in the beginning they knew no one. Their experience helped them to define specific services that would suit any type of travellers.

They had the idea of founding Ancre 78  when they noticed that many private persons couldn't find the appropriate transportation for their needs and/or their purse.

We enjoy serving our customers. We learnt from the past that no plane or car deliver a smile, only people do and it shows on our face. We’re always smiling just because we enjoy making our customers happy. We care for you.

The word  Ancre 78 is in tune with :

78 means the Department (County) where we created our services.

An anchor is a symbol of safety, security, sturdiness, solidity. Sailors from all over the world, when a storm is rushing, entrust their lives, their hopes of a tomorrows to the Anchor of their ship, . We thought such a symbol  portrayed exactly our commitment towards you and the quality of the services we wish to provide.

We are aware that our activity means environmental pollution. However, we are very concerned by Nature and attentive to the respect we should all have for the planet. That is why our cars are maintained inside and outside with biological products made out of plants and flowers. It's harder  and longer to do than go to a washing station but the water and electricity savings are worth it.
